Regional Workshop for Participants of the e-Universities Pilot Research Project organized by CARNet, Srce, ASHE, and NSK held at the Faculty of Education on Friday, March 1, 2024 Featured

On March 1, 2024, the Faculty of Education hosted a Regional Workshop for participants of the e-Universities Pilot Research Project organized by the Croatian Academic and Research Network (CARNet) in collaboration with the University Computing Centre (Srce), the Agency for Science and Higher Education (ASHE), and the National and University Library (NSK).
 
The Rector of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University, Full Professor Vlado Guberac, PhD, attended the opening session along with the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Full Professor Emina Berbić Kolar, PhD. The Rector greeted the participants of this valuable and demanding project, which will enhance working conditions and empower both students and the entire university community in Osijek, and wished them successful further work.
 
The workshop speakers included Associate Professor Predrag Pale, PhD from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), Assistant Professor Klara Bilić Meštrić, PhD (CARNet), Tona Radobolja (Srce), and Jasminka Maravić (CARNet).
 
The main topics of the workshops were: piloting the equipment planned for delivery and implementation at the end of March this year and adapting action plans of faculty participant groups in the Pilot research. Further workshops for participants in the Pilot research were also announced.
 
The Faculty of Education team in the e-Universities Pilot Research includes:
Vjekoslav Galzina (instructor), Josipa Zetović (librarian), and Krunoslav Kurilj (IT expert).
 
The next Regional Workshop will be held in Split on March 8, 2024.
